A companion to our neighborhood, built to outlast a Facebook thread.
What this is
Carolina Park Life was created by residents, for residents of Carolina Park in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. It is the companion to our private Carolina Park Facebook group — the place where the group's best, most useful knowledge stops disappearing and starts adding up. Carolina Park has two parts — The Village and Riverside — and this site serves both.
The problem we're solving
Every week someone asks, “Who's a good plumber?” The answers are gold — and then they scroll away, buried and unsearchable, so the same question gets asked again next month. Here, a neighbor's recommendation is kept: it persists, it ranks by how many households actually vouch for a vendor, and it stays fresh over time.
Open to read, resident-only to shape
This site is deliberately public. Anyone in the greater Mount Pleasant area is welcome to read it and benefit from what Carolina Park has learned. But interactions and ratings are exclusively for verified Carolina Park residents — the trust of this list comes from the fact that only real neighbors can shape it.
How we verify residents
Verification rides on the private Facebook group you already belong to. The group maintains a rotating access word, posted inside it. To unlock recommending and rating, you enter the current word along with your email and Carolina Park address — no username, no password. When the word rotates, only current members have the new one. Our promise
We are solution-based by design. Recommendations cannot be bought. Concerns about a business are handled privately and constructively — routed to a moderator and then to the business as feedback, never as a public pile-on. See our resident etiquette.

This is an independent community site — not officially affiliated with the Carolina Park HOA. The website is donated by C Highland Advisory, LLC and powered by Workforce Wave. It is kept free for Carolina Park by local sponsors.
